100% Passing Rate in March 2010 ABRSM Theory Exam

YAHOOO... Finallly the results is out.

We are proud to announce that our students' passing rate is 100%.
There is 30% of them passed with flying color . Chan Chun Mun, well done, almost full score (98 marks). Congratulation to Chong Kai Ni, Chong Yie Wei, Chua Sin Yee and Grace tan who got "distinction" .

Great job to all teachers. Thank you for the hardwork in the theory exam preparation.

MUSIC WORKSHOP

New course available!!! We are launching our "Music Workshop" on 5th June 2010.

“Music Workshop” is a continuous music education which is suitable for all level of music students, regardless of the instruments they are playing or learning as the content to be shared is beyond those in ordinary class.

For example, topics to be covered during our first workshop includes history of composer, introduction of instruments, guitar strumming/tapping example, sing and clap, interactive quiz session of music related knowledge etc…

HOW ARE YOUR PIANO SKILLS PROGRESSING?

I've found some pretty good advise from a famous piano tutor, just to share with all music learner.



How are your piano skills progressing?

What ares, if any, do you believe you need to focus on improving? Having a GOAL is an important first step in accomplishing any task.

Here are some measurable goals you can set for yourself:

a) Practice 30 minutes a day for at least 5 days a week.
b) Be able to play any of the 12 major, minor, augmented and their inversions well.
c) Memorize 1 song each month from a different genre. Choose from classical, hymns, popular songs, etc. This will help expand your repertoire and range. Remember to keep a record of your song selections.
